With the release of Multiple Conversions, a new entity has appeared - Conversion Category. Categories help group identical events from different apps on the dashboard (on Apps and Accounts levels).

There are 6 Categories to choose from: 

  • Trial, 
  • Subscription, 
  • Purchase, 
  • Engagement, 
  • Game Event, 
  • Other Conversion. 

Categories can be renamed to fit your use case (at first - by the Support Team upon your request, after the future releases - directly in the UI).

You can use each Category only once within an app.

Under each Category there can be 1 Conversion. Each Conversion may include X In-app Events.

When creating a new Conversion, you’ll need to assign it to one of the 6 available Categories

Just remember that you can use each Category only once per app.

If the available Category names are irrelevant to your app, please contact us, and the Support Team will help you to rename the Categories

Then, to display the updated Conversions on the dashboard, please click Edit Columns, select the Conversions and save the view as a Preset.

You'll need to create Column Presets on every level (Apps, Camapaigns, etc.) to display the Conversions on the dashboards. We do not show them in the Default view.

Editing existing Conversions

When you edit existing Conversions to track each of them separately, you’ll also need to add each Conversion to one of the 6 available Categories.

Remember that you can use each Category only once per app.

Saving historical data

Important: past events data will not be automatically distributed between the Multiple Conversions!

If you would like to save past data, please follow the steps:

  1. Edit the existing Conversions (please make sure to edit them, rather than delete them and create again from scratch),
  2. Assign each of them to a relevant Category,
  3. Reach out to us through 'Contact Us' in-app or at [email protected].

The Support Team will help you migrate all the historical events data correctly.
