Login to your Tune account at https://www.tune.com/
Go to “My Account Settings”. In the navigation (on the left side), under the Partners section, click Partners. On the Partners page (on the right side), near the upper-right corner, click “Add Internal Partner” as shown in the following screenshot.
On the “Add Internal Partner” page, in the Name/Company Name box, type “SearchAdsHQ Partner”, in the Partner Type selector choose “Technology Partner” and then click Add Partner as shown in the following screenshot.
On the Integrated Partners page (on the right side), find the Apple Search Ads partner and click Enable.
After that, your Partner’s page will look as shown in the following screenshot.
Then you need to configure postback URL so SearchAdsHQ will be able to receive in-app events attributed to your Apple Search Ads campaigns. On the left menu in your SearchAdsHQ Dashboard click Integrations. At the Integrations page click View Settings button under Tune section. Continue to the next step.
On the Tune Partner Integration popup copy postback URL. Use this link to configure postback at the Tune on the next step.
Post-back URL example:
Back to the Tune Data Sharing page (on the right side), under Postback URLs click Create Custom Postback shown in the following screenshot.
On the Create a Postback URL page in the Postback Name box type name of your new postback, in Partner Type selector choose Technology Partner. Then in the Technology Partner Postback Template section search for Internal Partner you’ve created for SearchAdsHQ on Step 3. Enter Postback URL from your SearchAdsHQ Account as shown in the following screenshot.
On the bottom of Create a Postback URL page fill the boxes:
- Partner: Apple Search Ads
- Mobile App: The App you willing to connect to SearchAdsHQ
- Event Name: All Events
- Attribution Options: Only send events attributed to this partner
And then click “Save”
Pro tip: To limit events list you want to sent to SearchAdsHQ you can set up several custom postbacks with same destination URL but with specific event types.
As soon as incoming in-app events from Tune hit our servers you’ll be able to list the event names on the “Attribution partners” page.
Here you can attribute a default monetary value to your event (e.g., $10). This could be an actual or representative value and it will be used when the value is not set in an incoming event. The event value will be used to calculate ROI on your ad spend.
Done. Note that you need to repeat these steps for each app you willing to optimize in SearchAdsHQ.
